This notice explains what the Sortceror website collects, why, and what happens to it. It is written to be read, not skimmed past.

EARLY-ACCESS REGISTRATION DATA

Your email address, submitted voluntarily through the early-access form. Purpose: operating one private early-access list with confirmed double opt-in, sending selected previews, material milestones, testing invitations, and release availability. Legal basis: your consent.

OPERATIONAL AND SECURITY LOGS

Standard infrastructure logs kept by the hosting provider for security, abuse protection, and reliability. Purpose: keeping the service available and defensible. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating the service.

DIRECT CORRESPONDENCE

If you write to the contact address, the correspondence is kept as long as needed to handle and document the exchange.

Registration uses double opt-in: submitting the form records your address, a confirmation email is sent, and the registration becomes active only after you confirm from your inbox. The lifecycle is exactly: address received, confirmation sent, registration confirmed.

You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to privacy@sortceror.com. Any future early-access marketing email will also provide an unsubscribe mechanism. Withdrawal stops future sending; it does not retroactively affect processing carried out before withdrawal.

Early-access data is kept while the early-access programme exists and while your registration remains active. Suppression or blocklist state may be retained as needed to respect withdrawal and prevent unwanted sending. Unconfirmed submissions do not become active early-access registrations.

Cloudflare serves the website and may retain standard operational and security logs needed to operate and protect the service.

Brevo is the canonical subscriber and email processor: it stores the early-access list, operates double opt-in and unsubscribe state, handles suppression and bounce state, and delivers email. No parallel subscriber database is kept elsewhere.

The processors above may process data in data centres outside your country. Where personal data leaves the European Economic Area, transfers rely on recognised safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses, as documented by each processor.

The website currently sets no advertising or tracking cookies, uses no non-essential browser storage, and uses no client-side analytics. Because there is nothing non-essential to consent to, there is no cookie banner. If that ever changes, this notice and the site behaviour must change together.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to complain to a supervisory authority. Requests go to privacy@sortceror.com and are answered without undue delay.
