PROJECT RECORD PRIVACY TERMS

Sortceror is currently in private development.

LEGAL · TERMS OF USE

TERMS OF THE CIRCLE.

Plain terms for a website about a product in private development. They are deliberately unambitious: they tell you what this site is, what it is not, and what you can rely on.

1. Publisher and purpose

This website is published by Chase Zwartz, operating as Sortceror. Its purpose is to describe Sortceror, a plugin-library instrument currently in private development for Windows and the FL Studio Plugin Database, and to operate one private early-access list.

2. Product status and demonstrations

Sortceror is not publicly released. This website currently provides no:

  • public software download;
  • paid licence;
  • purchase;
  • guaranteed testing place;
  • promised release date;
  • support entitlement.

Browser-native interactive explanations use fictional example-library data to explain Sortceror concepts. They are explanatory scenes, not product footage, benchmarks, or promises. Real packaged-product captures may be added later and will be labelled distinctly when they are published.

3. Early-access registration

Joining the early-access list means giving consent to receive selected previews, material milestones, testing invitations, and release availability. It creates no entitlement to software, testing, timing, or price, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Handling of your data is described in the Privacy notice.

4. Project Record historical status

The Project Record, titled A Brief History of Ordered Chaos, is a dated historical snapshot that closes on 26 August 2026. It documents the state of the project as it stood at that date. It is not a current release-status page, a roadmap, or a warranty of any capability.

5. Intellectual property

The Sortceror name, sigils, wordmark, interface designs, copy, and the Project Record are the property of the publisher. Ordinary screenshots, quotation for commentary or criticism, and linking to this website are welcome and are not restricted by these terms.

6. Third-party names and marks

FL Studio and Windows are the marks of their respective owners. They are used here only to state what Sortceror is designed to work with. No affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement is claimed or implied. The fictional plugin and vendor names used in interactive explanations belong to no real products.

7. Availability, accuracy, and external links

The website is provided as it is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Content describes a product in active private development and may change or become outdated; material inaccuracies are corrected when found. External links are provided for convenience, and the publisher is not responsible for external content.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the publisher is not liable for damages arising from use of, or inability to use, this informational website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for intent or gross negligence where applicable.

9. Governing law, jurisdiction, and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. The courts of Ireland have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections of your place of residence.
